Verification may be requested privately before or after a listing is approved. Listings may be declined or removed if verification cannot be provided, or if information appears misleading or fraudulent.

Rules & Guidelines

Last Minute Carnival Costumes is a community marketplace built on trust, fairness and respect. To keep the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone, all users must follow these guidelines.

1. Accurate Listings

Sellers must:

  • Upload clear, real photos of the actual costume or accessory
  • Accurately describe size, condition, and contents
  • List only items they own and have the right to sell Misleading listings will be removed.

2. Fair Pricing & Transparency

  • Prices must be clearly stated
  • Hidden fees or last-minute changes are not allowed
  • Any defects or missing pieces must be disclosed

3. Respectful Communication

All users must:

  • Communicate respectfully
  • Avoid harassment, spam, or abusive language
  • Respond honestly and promptly Violations may result in account removal.

4. Prohibited Activity

The following are not allowed:

  • Scams or fraudulent behaviour
  • Fake listings
  • Impersonation
  • Selling Illegal or restricted items

5. Listing & Account Approval

  • All users and listings are reviewed before going live
  • We reserve the right to approve, reject or remove listings or accounts at our discretion

6. How payments work

Last Minute Carnival Costumes connects buyers and sellers but does not collect payments. Payment methods and timelines are agreed upon directly between buyer, seller, and - when applicable - the band. Verified Sellers have provided documentation confirming ownership or payment history of their costume. We encourage users to take reasonable precautions when completing transactions.
